This online survey gives you a chance to contribute to the Disability Action Plan consultation by giving your views on the proposed actions to be taken forward by the Disability Unit in 2023 to 2024 to improve the lives of disabled people in the UK.
This consultation is an opportunity for everyone - disabled people, disabled people’s organisations, and other interested parties - to have their say on the Disability Action Plan. We are consulting in an accessible way to ensure all disabled people who want to take part can do so. The consultation is open to everyone in the UK, but it only includes initiatives for the UK government to take forward, and not the devolved governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We are holding a full public consultation on these proposed actions to help gain a greater understanding of whether these are helpful things for the government to focus on, and how these might best be delivered if they were taken forward. This consultation is not intended to set out a full, detailed list of the policies which government will deliver. Rather, it is a chance for us to make sure that we are heading in the right direction, and to gather information about problems and potential solutions.
If you would like to use alternative accessible formats of the consultation document and the consultation questions you can find these on the Disability Action Plan gov.uk page here
